Wilkinson School is thrilled to partner with Coastside Allies to support the development of the Wilkinson School Preschool.

Together, we have launched a campaign to raise $100,000 to create an inspiring, play-based preschool program for children ages 3–5 on the Coastside.

This exciting expansion represents an important step in fulfilling Wilkinson School's mission to nurture curious minds, compassionate hearts, and lifelong learners from the earliest years through middle school.

Funds raised will support the creation of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments, classroom materials, playground enhancements, and facility improvements designed specifically for our youngest learners.

The Coastside continues to experience a significant need for high-quality early childhood education. Through this partnership, Wilkinson School and Coastside Allies are investing in local families by expanding access to a warm, inclusive, and engaging preschool experience rooted in whole-child education.

We invite our families, alumni, neighbors, and community partners to join us in building this exciting new chapter for Wilkinson School.

Coastside Allies is Grass Roots Advocacy and Giving Campaigns. Everyone interested is welcome to join. Here's the link: https://nextdoor.com/g/vjcab70na Coastside Allies emerged to take advocacy and structural intervention to an organic, non-regimented, and always emerging platform. The group consists of over 125 community volunteers who work on projects that align with your core values. Tackling gaps in service provision for local, county-wide CBOs and grass-root efforts, to working on policy change with elected officials, department leaders, and community boards, councils, and organizations. We work intentionally in spaces that honor the basic principles of equal human rights. We believe that you are your politics. As such, we pay careful attention to opposing efforts that work to isolate and/or discriminate. More simply, you are a perfect match if you truly believe EQUAL RIGHTS, ARE HUMAN RIGHTS. Our group includes a diverse skill set amongst its members, with many industry leaders in our collective backgrounds. We embrace science, prevention, and cutting-edge interventions as part of our policy work and core values. In 2026, we will have raised over 600k for community-based efforts to combat hunger, providing linkage to care access to over 750 families, organizing town halls and community events, such as coat drives, back-to-school needs, holiday food drives, political town halls, and community gatherings to discuss issues that should include community buy-in. All members (or community members) can propose an effort or campaign for us to support. We are all leaders, neighbors, and concerned citizens who want to get things done!
